Nelsen Grover (1980) is a Dutch producer and DJ who combines raw and catchy bassleads with harmonious sounds in both his productions and DJ sets. His first release 'Running' got very positive reviews by artists like Mason ("very strong anthem"), Don Diablo ("fresh, but still a little dirty") and Isis ("warm, energetic and ecstatic") and went straight into the charts on Beatport and Juno. Also his bootleg remix from the Kaiser Chiefs track 'Love's Not a Competition' is very popular among DJ's. Recently Nelsen got to play a DJ set in the renowned show 'Tiësto's Club Life', broadcast by Radio 538.
In his DJ performances Nelsen plays mostly electronica and indie influenced tracks. He prefers mixing at a fast pace and is able to do this in a smooth way by playing custom made edits only, giving a subtle but unique - high energy - twist to his DJ sets. Nelsen has a clear idea about what he doesn’t like in music. His DJ sets contain “NO anonymous noise & NO ongoing beats”. Next to releasing more dance floor tracks and performing as a DJ, his future ambition is to release an album that will contain vocally supported tracks.
